Mrs. Brooks passed away August 16, 2012, at Citizens Baptist Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Roy Brooks; two children, Russ Brooks of Pelham and Shelley Adams (Joe) of Talladega; sister Doris Raines (Ray) of Sylacauga; brother Robert Lovelace (Kathy) of Talladega; sister-in-law Frances Lovelace of Talladega; three grandchildren, Joseph Adams, Emily Adams and Haley Brooks; and a host of other family and friends.Brother Jeff Adams will officiate
She is preceded in death by her son, David Brooks; brothers Claude Lovelace and Fred Lovelace; her parents Lehman and Gertrude Lovelace; and sister-in-law Ernestine Lovelace
