Obituary of Lonnie Franklin Vickers

Alpine, AL – Lonnie Franklin Vickers, 88, passed away July 16, 2021. A graveside service will be 10:15 a.m., Monday, July 19 at the National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL. with Jason Allums officiating. He was a native of Hanover, AL. and has resided in Alpine since 2003. Mr. Vickers was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Childersburg and worked previously at Beaunit Mill before retiring from EBSCO Industries. Survivors include his wife, Celia Vickers of Alpine; his son, Mike Vickers (Linda) of Alpine; and his grandchildren, Amos Vickers, Jessica Vickers, and David A. Brakefield.
