Obituary of Helen Joyce Oden

Mrs. Helen Joyce Oden, 81, of Ashville, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Elsie Owens; brothers, Jule Owens and Ralph Owens; and sister, Dean Smiley.
She is survived by her husband, Seaborn Oden; son, Glenn Oden (Sue); daughter, Sherry Blum (Dennis); grandchildren, Owen Butler, Kyle Butler, Cynthia Smith (Cole), Tiffany Oden and Glenn S. Oden, Jr.; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, January 16, 2023, at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City.
The funeral service will be officiated by Bro. Gerald Taylor and Bro. Denny Lecroy at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City. Burial will follow the funeral service at St. Clair Memorial Gardens.
