I saw Shirley as a leader in our UMW activities at AFUMC and a popular and bright shining star wherever she appeared. But I seldom saw Shirley in our activites these last several years of church.
God and family know much about us that others may never know. Shirley was much loved by both, and that tells me how much her life on this earth will be missed.
Be at rest always in Heaven, Dear Shirley.
