Obituary of Rosa Haynes McWiliiams

Rosa Haynes McWilliams, 87, of Munford, AL passed away in Anniston on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 03, 2024 at Munford Church of Christ with Ronnie Hurst and Shane Clark officiating. Her family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the service at Hillcrest Cemetery. Mrs. McWilliams was a native and lifelong resident of Munford, AL and a member of Munford Church of Christ. She was an employee at General Electric in Oxford for many years before working at Magic Chef for over 15 years. She also spent her last few years of employment as a messenger at Regional Medical Center. Mrs. McWilliams was a very loving mother and Mimi who will be missed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Carl McWilliams. Mrs. McWilliams is survived by her sons, Greg McWilliams (Sandy) and Phillip McWilliams; grandchildren, Lindsey Webb (Jason), Kelsey McWilliams (Hellon), Chase McWilliams (Breanna), Seth McWilliams, and Adam Butler; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Ted Haynes; sister, JoAnn Fambrough, and a host of nieces and nephews. Kelsey McWilliams, Chase McWilliams, Seth McWilliams, Adam Butler, Peyton Webb, and David Parnell will serve as pallbearers. Dan Sadler and Richard Jones will serve as honorary pallbearers.
