Melissa “Lisa” Moore Tyson, 57, of Lincoln, AL passed away at her home on Thursday, February 01, 2024. A funeral ceremony will be held in her honor at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 03, 2024 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Bill Snow officiating. Her family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow directly after the service at Hopeful Cemetery. Mrs. Tyson was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County. She attended Edgewood Congregational Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Velma Moore; brother, Lynn Moore; sisters, Mattie Mullinax and Patty Pettus, and granddaughter, Kristian Tyson. Mrs. Tyson is survived by her sons, Jeremey Tyson (Heather), Cory Tyson (Brittany), and Cody Tyson (Anna); sister, Trina McBriyer; brothers, Buddy Moore, Tom Moore, and Rex Moore, and grandchildren, Derek Tyson, Annabelle Tyson, Dylan Tyson, Katie Tyson, Landon Champion, Emma Lesley, Morgan Tyson, Haven Tyson, Ethan Hanvey, Kelsea Tyson, and Jaxson Tyson. Derek Tyson, Brandon Cook, Donny Moore, Mark Moore, Jason Pettus, and Richard Groff will serve as pallbearers. Christopher Pettus and Zach Groff will serve as honorary pallbearers. Online condolences may be offered at www.usreyfuneralhome.com. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega is directing the services.
