Obituary of Thatcher Ralph Rigsby

Thatcher Ralph Rigsby, 15, of Lincoln, AL passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024. Thatcher attended Drew Middle School where he was loved by everyone and touched countless lives with his bright spirit and infectious smile. He always seemed to quickly become a favorite of many of his teachers and classmates. His strong will, colorful imagination, and outgoing personality will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. He enjoyed riding four wheelers and building model airplanes. Thatcher adored his younger sister, LaShine, and always made sure that she knew she was his best friend. He will be greatly missed by his family and everyone who had the honor of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Norma Kirkland, great-grandparents, Mary and Ralph Kirkland, and stepsister, Sofia Thomason. Thatcher is survived by his mother, Elisha Bushey (Johnathan); sister, LaShine Decker; stepbrothers, Brian Bushey and Gavyn Bushey; grandmother, Cristal Bushey; aunts, Alexis Brewer, Sondra Cook, and Melissa Bushey, and uncle, John Creel.
