Martha Hayes Williams, 88 of Talladega passed away November 16, 2024, Graveside services will be held on Wednesday November 20,2024 at 12:30 pm, at Pine Hill Memorial Park. John Monteith will officiate the service. Her family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home from 11:00am-12:00pm on Wednesday. Martha was a native of Talladega, she graduated from Winterboro High School, Retired from Bemiston Bag Company, and a Member of Talladega Creek Baptist Church. Martha spent her last few months residing at The Seasons, where she enjoyed sitting on the porch with the other residents. Martha is survived by her children daughter Billie Hicks, son Lloyd V. Williams Jr. (Rhonda); grandchildren Justin Williams, Alexander Williams, Dillon Sewell, Hunter Sewell, Larry Sewell (April), Hank Novitski (Victoria), Jerrica Moss (Michael); Ten great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Betty Willingham and Tonye Briscoe; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Venyard Williams Sr., parents Crad and Emma Hayes, daughter Teresa Sewell, son -in law Larry Sewell; and seven brothers and two sisters. Usrey Funeral home in Talladega will direct the services.
