Bryce David “Barney” Miller, 71, of Talladega, AL passed away in Wetumpka on Sunday, December 29, 2024. A celebration of life ceremony will be held in his honor at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 04, 2025 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega with Mickey Barnett officiating. His family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Miller was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1972. He retired from Kimberly Clark where he was affectionately known as “Barney” after over thirty years of service. He enjoyed golfing, attending cattle auctions, and hauling cattle. Mr. Miller was very outgoing and never met a stranger. He was always the life of the party and made many friends over the years. He was a devout Christian man and a loving father and granddad.
He was preceded in death by his son, Bryce Shay Miller, brother, Mickey Miller, and parents, T.W. and Dot Miller.
Mr. Miller is survived by his daughter, Misti Dawn Floyd (Gregg); grandchildren, Peyton Floyd (Caitlin), Alex Floyd, Connor Bullard, and Cory Bullard; great-grandchild, Teagan Floyd; and dear friends, Wayne and Lolly Whittington.
His family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to his caregivers, Pegge Floyd and Greg Hunter, and all of the nurses and staff at Southern Care New Beacon Hospice of Montgomery.
